The individual sections are disparate and unique, shedding light on the processes and methodologies that inform the contributions to the exhibition. As the third iteration in an ongoing series, this year’s Made in L.A. focuses on what is vital and distinctive about Los Angeles as an international destination and center for contemporary art and how its artists—from vastly different backgrounds and disciplines—resist and defy categorization.
